Oil Spill?

WTF? 42 days of constant oil leakage.............and only one attempt to fix the problem? This is outrageous that between 12,000 to 19,000 barrels of oil is being leaked into the water DESTROYING the enviorment for plants, animals, and humans. It makes me sick that there "top Kill" FAILED! and they are SOON going to try something else. I have no appropriate words to express my frustration with the whole thing. I not trying to sound like a big enviromentalist hippy but this is a serious issue and my personal belief is after this incident off shore drilling should be banned to avoid another accident where we take 42 days, 1 attempt and another idea "Coming Soon" for such a serious disaster.

3D TV's future of television? or Just the latest Fad?

Are 3D tvs actually the future of televisions? Persionally I think its really a waste of money to throw in the extra feature that I will use only a few times. We have seen 3D before in past movies (ex. Spy kids 3D) but 3D has never really caught on until Avatar and its new 3D technology but you still have to wear the silly glasses. Now they have brought that 3D technology to tvs but there is still the problem with the glasses which I believe really holds the technology back. 3D is also hitting the handheld video game console with the confirmed Nintendo 3DS.

Unless they further the technology were we dont have to use the glasses I think it will just be a fad that the consumer will fall into for the next few months.
